Closer to Hard Rock

A visual identity for SiriusXM’s hard rock programming that brings listeners closer to the genre.

Taking this promise literally, the design concept is built on extreme proximity. The bespoke typeface features razor-sharp serifs and interlocking ligatures that physically close the gap between characters. This typographic tension, paired with inverted imagery and a stark red-and-black palette, creates a raw, claustrophobic intensity that mirrors the music itself.
